Overview:
Meet Captain Jordan Malone. For years he has been a silent warrior and guardian, operating independent of government protocol or oversight, leading his loyal team of Elite Ops agents to fight terror at all costs. A legend in the field, Jordan’s true identity has remained a mystery even to his own men…until now.

"Live Wire" has a good plot, intense emotion and powerful action."  — RT Book Reviews

Lora welcome to The Reading Frenzy.
Your novel Live Wire previously published in 2011 has just been re-released.

Can you tell us if there have been any updates to the original?
No, there have been no updates. The Trade paperback is the same as the mass market.

Tell us a little about the novel for those of us who haven’t read it.
LIVE WIRE is about Jordan Malone, the leader of the Elite Ops.  I think he is the most anticipated out of all of the Elite Ops because he’s also been the most mysterious.  But he always looks out for his men…and he’s something of a legend in his field.  He’s managed to keep himself out of romantic entanglements, until he meets Tehya Talamosi—codename “Enigma.”  Let’s just say that she is the perfect match for alpha leader, Jordan Malone.

Are others in the Elite Ops series being re-released?
Yes. Live Wire is the last book in the series, and each previous book as already been re-released.

How are the novels connected?
The novels are connected by fact that the six men are all part of the same unit within a shadow agency called Elite Operations, which selects soldiers, warriors, agents of all countries and military branches who have to disappear, or are believed dead by their own military and country. These agents are then given the medical and surgical care needed to allow them to fit into an agency funded from a privately held account originally created by several countries, international corporations and large private donations.
The first six men chose for their test group are bound, not by their pasts, but by their loyalties to the agency that ensured their survival and their chance to not just live and fight again, but also to find a future they’d never expected.

Lora you have written many series.
Is there one series that is more special to you than the others?
Why?
I don’t think any one series is more important than the other to me. Whichever book I’m writing at the time dictates the series that’s most important at the specific time. I fall in love with all my characters and hurt with them, laugh them, grieve for them, with the same depth.

Lora you write in many sub-genres of romance from romantic suspense to fantasy.
Do you find your fans follow you from genre to genre or are they a one or similar genre fans?
Well, I hope they follow me. JI know as a reader myself, I have no problem following a favorite author when she switches between genres. I actually enjoy it. From reader comments and emails though, I believe the majority of them do follow me between each series.

Lora are you a reader? Of course, I read voraciously whenever I get the chance.
What genre?
Any genre, but with the exception of Tom Clancy, its always romance.
Favorite authors?
That is a very long list. J Right off the top of my head; Tom Clancy, Linda Howard , Christine Feehan, Nalini Singh, Angela Knight and many others…

What are you working on now? At the moment I’m working on edits for Rule Breaker at the moment. Next up I have the final Wizard Twins book, the completion of the fourth Wounded Warriors novella as well and then the next Bound Hearts.

Lora do your friends and family find themselves starring in your novels or do they just think they do?  Neither. At least not anymore.  Some of my earlier books I took requests to use the names of friends as heroines, but I haven’t done that in years. It became a little uncomfortable once or twice. LOL

I’m sure you’ve attended your share of author events/signings.
Is there one instance that stands out above all the rest where something interesting/strange/funny happened?
Well, any event yas your interesting/strange/funny instances. I like to think what happens at the event stays at the event maybe? LOL And honestly, no matter where I’m at my head is normally in whatever book I’m writing, so I tend to pay very little attention to things that aren’t right in front of my face. I focus mainly on the readers or other writers I’m talking with, an usually only get to hear about the juicy gossip going on in the background. :)
What stands out the most to me though, is always the readers curiosity and enjoyment of my books. Their excitement in meeting their favorite authors and very often I find that many of their thoughts mirror mine when it comes to favorite books we’ve read. Talking about the books we love is something all readers enjoy. That chance to enjoy the adventure again with someone that experienced it as well.
But, there is that time at the Readers Appreciation Weekend we have every year, that I friend and I were seeing ‘how low we could go’ at the bar LOL. I lost. I fell backward, straight on my butt.  Probably not what you were asking about though, right? :)

Lora thanks for sharing a little of yourself with us today.Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share a bit of myself with you. It’s been a pleasure.
